AI summit in India kicks off with focus on ‘welfare for all’

The fourth annual artificial intelligence (AI) summit kicked off in New Delhi Monday with world leaders and top corporate executives gathering for the first such global event to be held in a developing country. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared the theme of the summit was “welfare for all” as the surging demand for AI lifts profits amid concerns over social risks.
