There were plenty of talking points from the second Test between the Proteas and India in a heated match that was filled with ‘niggle’.
The first signs of what turned into an ill-tempered Test first surfaced when Proteas youngster Marco Jansen and India star Jasprit Bumrah clashed in a heated exchange during the second Test at the Wanderers.
With the Proteas looking to wrap up the India innings – which they eventually did after the visitors reached 266 with a lead of 239 – Jansen bowled a fiery over against Bumrah.

On no less than three occasions Jansen struck Bumrah on the body before the two eventually went face to face in a heated exchange in the middle of the pitch.
The Indian star fast bowler was ultimately dismissed for seven, with Jansen ironically taking the catch.
