Opposition coach fires warning at Orlando Pirates!

Beating Orlando Pirates in the CAF Champions League won’t come as a surprise to Jwaneng Galaxy boss Morena Ramoreboli

Botswana champions Jwaneng Galaxy are on the same level as Orlando Pirates, head coach Morena Ramoreboli has warned.

While the Buccaneers are expected to ease past Galaxy, Ramoreboli believes his side can get something from the CAF Champions League preliminary tie, and it won’t be a major ‘upset’.

Jose Riveiro’s side travel to the National Stadium in Gaborone to face Galaxy in the first leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary qualifier on Sunday afternoon.

Beating Orlando Pirates won’t be a major upset – Morena Ramoreboli

Beating Orlando Pirates with Maluti FET College was an upset, yes. But beating Orlando Pirates with Jwaneng? I don’t think it would be an upset,” Ramoreboli said as quoted by iDiskiTimes.

“Here we’re in the same competition, same division, different countries. So obviously, we’re competing with Orlando Pirates in the CAF Champions League because they qualified. We are the champions of Botswana. We are more or less equal by that virtue.”

In other news, former Orlando Pirates attacker Bernard Morrison has completed a move to Botola Pro Champions AS FAR Rabat.

The 30-year-old Ghanaian star signed a one year contract at the Moroccan giants, with an option to extend by one more season.

Morrison spent two seasons at the Buccaneers better 2016 and 2018 where he made 23 appearances for the club, scoring four goals.
