Kaizer Chiefs in pole position as AmaZulu make BOLD decision on Sithebe!

Kaizer Chiefs appear to be closing in on AmaZulu midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe after the Durban-based outfit’s latest decision.

Usuthu president Sandile Zungu has confirmed that talks of a possible conntract extension between the club and Sithebe have ended.

Zungu further revealed that Sithebe may have worn the AmaZulu jersey for the last time after he rejected the club’s offer to extend his stay.

Zungu added that AmaZulu may decide to keep Sithebe so that he continues to train and honour his contract or loan him out for the remainder of the season.

And while talk of a possible move to Chiefs continues to do the rounds in the media, Zungu said he didn’t know where Sithebe will be going.

SITHEBE MIGHT NOT WEAR AMAZULU JERSEY AGAIN

“Yes, Sithebe and his contract situation, which ends in June this year, will definitely be not be extended,” Zungu tells KickOff.

“Clearly, he is not happy to stay at the club, and we respect that.

“As to where he’s going, I don’t know.”
