In a statement released on Wednesday, Chelsea said Terry is rejoining the club in a coaching consultancy role at the academy.
He will assume his new role which will be on a part time basis from January 2022, the statement further confirmed.

TERRY’S JOB DESCRIPTION
According to the club, Terry will work hand-in-hand with the Chelsea young players and coaching staff in the academy.

Terry will also be delivering on-field coaching while also contributing to coaching discussions with his colleagues at the academy.
Furthermore, Terry will mentor the academy players and support parent dialogue as part of his job description.

According to Chelsea, Terry’s new job will also help him sharpen his coaching skills after having spent some time as an assistant coach at Aston Villa.
