MK lovers? Nhlamulo Ndlela addresses rumours he’s dating Duduzile Zuma

Nhlamulo Ndhlela, who is the spokesperson of the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party, has responded to reports that he is remontically involved with Duduzile Zuma.

According to TshisaLIVE, sources in the MK Party claim that the Ndhlela and former South African president Jacob Zuma’s daughter have been in a relationship for some time.

“These two are dating and their relationship can be confused by their proximity in the party. To us in the MK, we know their relationship is beyond work and it is clear they are an item,” said the source.

Another source claimed that the alleged couple has been keeping the relationship “under the carpet as they don’t want to attract attention from the party”, however, everyone within the MK Party can allegedly see that they are an item.

NHLAMULO NDHLELA DENIES DATING DUDUZILE ZUMA

Hitting back, Ndhlela denied dating Zuma. He said they are often seen together because they work together. He added that they’ve been close since their days in Mozambique, where Zuma and her twin – Duduzane – were born.

“I’m not dating Duduzile Zuma and we are just close to each other and my relationship with her goes back to our days in Mozambique,” Ndhlela explained.

“They are trying to drive a certain narrative that we are dating. She attends every event with her boyfriend, haven’t you seen Dudu’s boyfriend? It’s clear people want to know. We know each other from as far back to the [19]80s with the Zuma family. So, she’s a sister to me including other sisters and brothers.

“We are close due to the work we do in this organisation. That’s all I can tell you.”

‘MARRIED BUT IT’S COMPLICATED’

Very little is known about Ndhlela’s personal life, except that he he us the nephew of former South African Revenue Service boss Tom Moyane.

While Zuma also keeps her life private, the 24-year-old is known to have been married to businessman Lonwabo Sambudla – hence she still referred to as “Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla”. Zuma and Sambudla got married in 2011 and reportedly split in 2016.

During a recent sit-down interview on The Shady PHodcast with Warras and DJ PH, revealed that she is “married, but it’s complicated.” In addition, she shared that she has two beautiful daughters.

Although she’s very vocal now on social media, Zuma (who is a Wits Business School graduate) explained that she made a conscious decision not to join any social media platform during her father’s tenure as the president.

“I was a stay-at-home mom. I was that Sandton mom,” she said.
