I think I speak for most of us when I say that we all have memories associated with Tupperware. Whether you grew up in the golden era of the Tupperware party and have memories of your grandma singing the product’s praises to anyone who would listen—or you’re like me and just knew that it was the “good” container—we’re all familiar with the brand.

Not only did it change how we store food, but it was one of the first consumer products to use plastic in such an innovative way. The brand became so famous, in fact, that most people refer to any storage container as "Tupperware," whether it’s actually from the brand or not.

As ubiquitous as the brand is, it was no match for the changing times, and earlier this month, the company filed for bankruptcy. I’ve never felt a more visceral connection to a product, and word that it would soon disappear from shelves left me speechless.

Not long ago, Tupperware underwent a slick and glossy rebrand, hoping to appeal to a younger consumer who hadn’t grown up with the product like the rest of us Millennials and Gen-Xers, but it might have been too little too late.

Fortunately for us Tupperware super fans, though, we can still pick up a set at Costco before they’re gone for good. Excuse me for a moment while I geek out over this incredibly vintage set—I’ve never seen storage containers I felt drawn to more.

The hulking 32-piece Heritage Collection set features literally everything you need to store leftovers, meal prep, baked goods, and more, and it’s beautiful, to boot. The pretty pastel set gives major '70s vibes with a few sneaky updates to make it work in our modern homes.

Each container comes with a one-touch closure lid and nesting capabilities to make space-saving worries a thing of the past. Best of all, the entire set is dishwasher safe, making clean up after use easy, breezy, lemon squeezy.

Price-wise, the set will set you back $70 depending on where you’re located, and fans on the Costco subreddit agree that the price “seems super cheap for Tupperware.” Doing my own quick math, the price works out to about $2.18 per piece.

I’m not sure about you, but I’ll be picking up at least two sets to keep one for myself and one to give as a gift. Who knows, vintage might be in again soon enough. Happy hunting!
