These Popular Crackers Are Being Recalled From Target, Walmart, and Other Stores Nationwide
Over 15,000 cases of a popular cracker have been recalled from Target, Walmart, and Giant Eagle stores.


Shearer’s Foods, LLC has recalled over 15,000 cases of oyster crackers distributed to Target, Walmart, and Giant Eagle in over 20 states. The recall was issued on February 21, 2025 after a stainless steel wire was found in the product.
The oyster crackers were sold under the brand names Market Pantry, Great Value, Giant Eagle, and VISTA brand names and distributed in Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. The recalled products were also distributed in 20-pound bulk packages that were not meant for retail sale.
