The $4.99 ALDI Find I'm Enjoying While It Lasts (Especially for the Holidays)

This new ALDI product is my new favorite. I'm using it on everything, but also just eating it with a spoon—it's so delicious.

Two of my all-time favorite products at ALDI are the everything bagel seasoning and the goat cheese logs.

I buy these two items all the time. Sometimes, I even combine the two products at home. So I was really excited to see that ALDI combined the two in its Emporium Selection Everything Goat’s Milk Cheese.

What I Love About ALDI's Everything Bagel Goat Cheese

This delicious cheese is made with creamy, tangy fresh goat’s milk cheese combined with onion, garlic, dried red bell pepper, and poppyseeds. I love how the sweetness of the cheese melds with the savory flavors of the spice blend with just a touch of crunch from the poppy seeds.

Though I could happily eat this with a spoon straight from the package, it is perfectly spreadable for crackers, bagels, breads, and more. I really like it as a substitute for cream cheese on bagels—it’s just a bit tangier.

This new, seasonal cheese comes in a six-ounce log, perfect for holiday entertaining and football games. At only $4.99, you can buy one or two, then add some crackers (maybe some bagel chips or ALDI's everything-seasoned almond flour crackers), and you’ve got the easiest appetizer ever.

You could also add it to a cheese and charcuterie spread, and it would not only taste great but also bring color to the plate thanks to the flecks of color from the everything seasoning blend.

How I Use ALDI's Everything Bagel Goat Cheese

It would also taste fantastic smeared on chicken breasts, stuffed inside chicken breasts with roasted red peppers and spinach, or even tossed with chicken and pasta. Speaking of pasta, or rather, macaroni, I think this would be a fun cheese to add to mac ’n cheese, adding both tang and spice to the dish.

This flavored goat’s milk cheese would also be a great topping for baked potatoes, and it would add an interesting touch to au gratin potatoes. Since I’m a big fan of adding goat cheese to salads, I'll be crumbling it into my fall salads as well.

I can also see adding it to wraps and sandwiches, both veggie and chicken, but also turkey and ham. If you like BLTs, you could substitute the mayo for this goat cheese, and you’d have an absolute winner for dinner.

Mostly, though, I have to stop myself from eating the whole log with a spoon so I can actually use it in some recipes.
