Syria's Sharaa tells Putin he wants to 'redefine' Russia ties on Moscow visit
Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa told his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin he wanted to "redefine" ties between the two countries during his first official visit to Moscow. Sharaa was expected to ask his host to hand over Syria's former strongman Bashar al-Assad, who sought refuge in Russia after his ouster by rebel forces last year.
