India vs New Zealand, 1st Test, Day 5 Live: New Zealand are at 79/1 at Lunch on the final day and India still seek the second wicket after the visitors fared well in the day’s opening session. Tom Latham and William Somerville have looked set at the crease after resuming action from an overnight score of 4/1. Both the batters have looked confident and dominated the Indian bowlers till now in the chase of 284 runs. Veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is the only successful bowler for India in the fourth innings as he dismissed Will Young minutes before Stumps on Day 4. Ashwin, who took three wickets in the first innings, has also equalled Harbhajan Singh’ s 417 Test wickets and he if takes one more then he will go past the veteran off-spinner to become India’s third-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket.
