Republicans take Senate majority for the first time in four years

Republicans reclaimed control of the US Senate on Tuesday by sweeping up seats in West Virginia and Ohio, with an unexpected battleground win from Nebraska that pushed the GOP over the top. It is the first time in four years that the Republican party has won a majority in the Senate.
