Defence lawyer Mick Haller lands a case defending a wealthy realtor’s son who is accused of raping a prostitute. Believing his client to be innocent, Haller soon finds evidence that proves otherwise.

Criminal defence attorney Mickey Haller works in LA County, California, mostly from the back of his black Lincoln Town Car, chauffeured by Earl Briggs. Most of his career has been defending low-end criminals, such as a biker club led by Eddie Vogel.

The Lincoln Lawyer is an American legal thriller film adapted from the  novel of the same title by Michael Connelly.

The film is directed by Brad Furman, with a screenplay written by John Romano, and stars Matthew McConaughey as the titular lawyer, Mickey Haller.

Included in the stars, is Ryan Phillippe, Marisa Tomei, Josh Lucas, William H. Macy, and Bryan Cranston.
