Netanyahu says Israel and Hamas expected to begin Gaza ceasefire's second phase soon
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that he expected the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire to begin "very shortly" once Hamas returns the remains of the last hostage whose body was taken by Palestinian militants during the October 7, 2023 attacks. Israel's army chief Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir told reserve troops that the demarcation line that now divides the Palestinian territory was a "new border".
