JD Vance to visit to US military base in Greenland, defying local uproar

US Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha will visit an American military base in Greenland on Friday. The trip was scaled back after Greenlanders and Danes were angered that the original itinerary was planned without consulting them. President Donald Trump has repeatedly expressed his desire to annex the Danish territory.
