Israeli claim on killing Nasrallah ‘very credible’
The Israeli military’s claim Saturday that it has killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in a strike on Beirut the previous day is “very credible” despite no confirmation from the Iran-backed militant group, FRANCE 24’s James André said, pointing to the significance of such an announcement in the region. “If they are saying it, it’s very probably that they have solid confirmation that indeed Hassan Nasrallah has been killed”, André said, adding that Hezbollah would have to confirm Nasrallah’s death in order to bury him rapidly on religious grounds.
