This time of year is filled with festive cheer. Whether you’re opening presents with family on Christmas Day or ringing in the new year at your New Year’s Eve party, it’s a time of togetherness and excitement.

That being said, the holidays are also hec-tic! Santa has made his list and checked it twice, and so have you:

Grocery Stores Open on Christmas Eve

Most major grocery stores in the U.S. operate on adjusted holiday hours on Christmas Eve. The list below is a great starting place, but note many stores have regional hours, so give your local grocery store a call or check store hours using their location finder before heading over.

Albertsons: Open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., but hours vary with location.
Aldi: Open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Costco: Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Food Lion: Open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Harris Teeter: Open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Kroger: Open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Lidl: Open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
