Ecuador's conservative Noboa and leftist rival Gonzalez set for presidential run&off

Incumbent Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa narrowly led Sunday's election with 44.4 percent of the vote, closely trailed by leftist Luisa Gonzalez at 43.9 percent. With about 90 percent of ballots counted, Gonzalez claimed a "great victory" by forcing what she called a "statistical tie" in an election considered a referendum on  a stalled economy and record crime.
