Donald Trump has threatened Canada with 100% tariffs if it signs a trade deal with China, its second-largest trading partner after the U.S., marking the latest escalation in U.-Canada relations, which have been further strained after Mark Carney criticized Trump’s Greenland takeover threats at the Davos Forum and urged “middle powers” to unite.
