England captain Joe Root was struck in the groin with a high-paced delivery, and was clearly feeling the effects afterwards.
Both before play started on Sunday in the second Ashes Test between Australia and England, and again during his time at the crease, Joe Root suffered a terrible blow to the groin.

He was left rolling on the ground after being struck in the box by Australia fast bowler Mitch Starc, while it was clear Root was still suffering when he recovered to carry on batting, but was seen battling to run between the wickets.
