In this What’s Next with Aki Anastasiou interview, Anja Visagie, the Head of Project Development at Sustainable Power Solutions (SPS), discusses the company’s recent launch of a renewable energy plant for Aqunion.

SPS was founded in 2008 and has successfully commissioned over 290 solar and battery storage projects in the commercial and industrial sectors across Sub-Saharan Africa.

It specialises in the funding, development, and operation of solar PV and battery storage plants.

As SPS Head of Project Development, Visagie is responsible for ensuring these energy projects are executed efficiently.

She boasts 14 years of experience at SPS and has played a key role in the company’s growth throughout her tenure.

Before joining SPS, Visagie earned a Master’s Degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Stellenbosch University.
